range of applications :
Catalyst Intermediates: High purity Manganese Oxide and
manganese nitrate solutions are widely used to prepare Mn-based catalysts
for chemical synthesis, in pharmacy for example, and environmental
protection: eliminate dangerous ozone, carbon monoxide and volatile organic
compounds (VOC's).
Dyes & Fragrances: Manganese
dioxides act as a mild and selective oxidant in converting alcohols to
flavor and fragrance aldehydes and in manufacturing certain dyes.
Water Purification: Manganese, in various forms, traps dissolved
sulfide, heavy metals, and some radioactive species from water.
Oil refineries (sulfur sontrol): Erachem Comilog's CST removes
H2S carbonyl sulfide and mercaptans from petroleum refining process
feedstocks.
