Erachem Comilog's New Johnsonville plant is dedicated solely to the production of electrolytic manganese dioxide (EMD). Geographically located to supply both the American and international battery industries, we can reach you by truck, rail, barge or container ship. 

Technologically, New Johnsonville is a state-of-the-art facility.  It's advanced distributed control systems yield a consistently high quality product.  We are a world wide class supplier who is continuously improving our EMD's performance to meet the ever increasing power demands of new electronic devices.

 
The broad portfolio of fine performance and specialty products which we produce directly from natural ore makes Erachem Comilog unique in the manganese industry.

We source the natural manganese ore from our parent company, Eramet Comilog, to ensure customers the highest quality raw materials for their product lines.

Baltimore (MD), USA  

Our ISO 9002-certified Baltimore plant produces a broad portfolio of manganese fine chemicals which include high purity oxides, anhydrous salts, specialty metallurgical products, and reduced ores.

                                          Geographically, Baltimore 's port facilities ensure convenient access to imported ores and to our international customers. The high purity oxides plant and the anhydrous manganese chloride production facility have demonstrated the reliability and efficiency required to support our global markets.

 

 

St-Ghislain , Belgium

Our ISO 9001-certified St-Ghislain plant produces and commercializes Mn Chemicals to electronics, agro-chemistry and chemical industry.                                                                 

                                                                                

                                             Certified ISO 14001 (based on copper-containing waste coming from the electronic industry, the recycling unit generates fresh etching solutions dedicated to printed circuit boards (PCBs). Extracted copper is valorised as copper salts and oxides.

A second process will recover Mn and Zn from used consumer batteries.                         Currently, projects are being developed to recycle Cu, Zn and other metals complex waste stream.                                                        

Tampico, Mexico

This industrial plant located 20 km southwest of the port of Tampico.                                      

                                                            

                                             

                                                                                                                              Today, Tampico site produces TECMANGAM® manganese sulfate (32% Mn) and OXIMANGAM® manganous oxide (60% Mn). Both products are widely accepted as a source of manganese for fertilizers, animal feed premixes and raw materials for the production of fungicides and other manganese chemical derivatives.

Chongzuo, China

Located  in the province of Guangxi , in the south west of China .                                                            

                                                          

      

                                                                                                                                                   This new “ Greenfield ” plant is dedicated to EMD production geared towards portable alkaline battery and Li ion rechargeable batteries.                          

Chongzuo follows Erachem & international quality standards. It’s an environmental friendly plant which produces top grade alkaline quality.
