Manganese is absolutely essential for normal growth in
both plants and animals :
Feed Premixes: Manganese oxide (ore grade) added to livestock
feeds, particularly for poultry and swine, supplements natural intake,
assuring healthy, vigorous growth.
Fertilizer: When soil is manganese deficient, citrus and
soybean crops suffer. Dry applications employ manganese in the form of
manganous oxide. For spraying applications requiring water solubility,
farmers prefer manganese sulfate or nitrate solution.
